92.9 Dave FM is a popular radio station here in the Atlanta area known for bringing good and free live music to the area. Now they are hosting the Acoustic Sunset Fall Series every Sunday in October located  in the Smyrna Market Village from 4 – 7 p.m. This is perfect for the weekend wind down.

Music @ Noon

Music @ Noon is a free way to get out from behind your desk at lunch in the downtown Atlanta area. Every Tuesday and Thursday in October, you can go to Centennial Olympic Park and listen to free live music from different local musicians. Bring your lunch, a blanket and your co-workers to get outside for a change. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. The music is from noon – 1 pm featuring different music genres including: pop, R&B and jazz.

This seems to be the last month for 2009 to see free movies at Atlantic Station’s Movies and the Market.   Bring your family, blankets and picnic to enjoy blockbuster movie favorites each Thursday night in Central Park. Movies start at dusk (around 8:45 – 9:00 pm) but get there early to get a good lawn spot.
