First Thursday Artwalk in Atlanta

This evening from 5 – 8 pm is the the First Thursday Artwalk in Atlanta. Take a self  guided tour and explore art and our city while having fun! Sample itineraries have been put together for you to follow or you can make your own tour.  There is no beginning and end point of the Artwalk and you are free to go as fast or as slow as you want. Happening every first Thursday of every month, this event has become a place where singles can meet, people can unwind and just enjoy the beautiful downtown landscape. There is free parking 6 – 9 pm at Lanier Parking Deck behind the library. You simply need to get your ticket stamped at library front desk. There is also free evening parking at United Way parking garage.

With galleries open and featured in the Artwalk such as The Museum of Design Atlanta, the GSU School of Art & Design Gallery, Georgia State University and The Rialto Center for the Art, you are sure to have a great time and see some great art! For a map of the the venues for this event, click here.
