This weekend is the start of St. Patrick’s Day happenings which will continue through Tuesday, March 17th which is St. Patrick’s Day. SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2009
Atlanta St. Patricks 127th Parade | 12:00 Noon | Downtown Atlanta
The 2009 Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade will have over 200 units, including floats, bands of every kind, military units, Bagpipe & Drum Corps, thousands of children (OUR REASON FOR CELEBRATING), Irish dancers, clowns, high tech firefighting equipment, police units, drill teams, dogs, horses, antique cars, dignitaries from Ireland, and our own Government leaders.

St. Patrick’s Day Festival at Underground Atlanta | Noon – 6 pm
Celebrate Georgia’s rich Irish heritage at the 127th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade! The parade begins at Peachtree/Ralph McGill at 12 noon and moves through Underground Atlanta (Pryor Street) where the celebration continues!
The St. Patrick’s Day Festival encompasses various celebrations of Irish heritage and culture. Live Irish entertainment will be showcased throughout the day along with an Irish Breakfast, family activities, vendors and of course, green everywhere.
