St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival Atlanta Event
Yes, it’s St. Patrick’s Day next Wednesday, March 17th! So this coming Saturday, March 13th is the annual St. Pat’s Atlanta 2010 including a parade and festivities in the Underground Atlanta. As the 128th celebration in the last 152 years, this is 1 yearly celebration that tends to bring a large Atlanta crowd! The parade starts at noon on Peachtree Street in Downtown Atlanta. The parade will have over 200 participants including clowns, floats, bands of every kind, military units, Bagpipe & Drum Corps, thousands of children, Irish dancers, clowns, antique cars, dignitaries from Ireland, our own Government leaders and so much more. Once the parade is over, head over to the Underground Atlanta for more St. Patrick’s Day festivities, beer and music with cover bands including Desire, a U2 cover band. This is surely a family event you don’t want to miss!
