$8,000 1st Time Homebuyer Tax Credit

The revised stimulus package was signed this week by President Obama. The final package includes a first time homebuyer tax credit of $8,000. A first time buyer is anyone who has not owned a home in the past 3 years. The credit is available to anyone who purchases a home between January 1 and November 30, 2009, and would eliminate the repayment requirement that is in effect now. This makes now an even better time to buy!
