Adventures in Househunting-Frustrations
Well, it has been a few weeks since I’ve given a househunting update. Weekly, I have been going out with our realtor, Bruce, looking for the perfect home. I have found that I am not going to get everything that I want, in the area that I want, at a price I can afford. I am not willing to go any further out of the city than Cobb County (and even some parts of Cobb are too far). I think that it is common for first time homebuyers to have high expectations, and then be a bit disappointed.

I must admit, I am feeling a bit frustrated. I honestly thought I would have found the home by now, and at least be under contract. Kevin and I sat down and discussed that buying a home to start our family in is a top priority, so we will have to give up a few things. We’ve regrouped and are ready to get out there and make a decision. We can’t wait to start this next chapter of our life, and know that all our hunting frustrations will be worth it! For all your other first time buyers out there, remember to keep your chins up and you will find the perfect place for your first home.
